I am a native of Washington state, a graduate of South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard and of the University of Washington in Seattle.

I have been married to my wonderful wife, Kendra, since 1995 and we have two beautiful children.

What I do for a living

I am the Director of IT Operations at KP Corporation, a privately held print, fulfillment, direct mail and digital delivery company headquartered in San Leandro, CA and six locations in Washington, California, Utah and Texas. My team is responsible for the support and management of the company IT Infrastructure including two data centers.

Prior to joingin KP in 2005, I worked for the gaming company Sierra Entertainment, Won.net, Keane, Morrison Sand & Gravel and contract positions with Microsoft, Bank of America, and InfoSpace.I have experience working on a variety of systems and technologies including Project Server, SQL Server, IIS, SharePoint, ASP.NET, Cisco devices, Fortinet firewalls, Aventail SSLVPN, and VMWare ESX server. I am primarily experienced on the Windows platform (2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, Windows 7), however, I have some knowledge of Unix (FreeBSD, Solaris), Linux and the Mac OS X system.
